Almost every night, Tusconans are treated to some of the reddest sunsets in the country. Shortly before the western sky turns bright cherry-red, the Catalina Mountains, toward the northeast, absorb the light and turn a beautiful glowing pink, which lasts for several minutes. All around northern Tucson, every evening, you know people are calling out to their loved ones, “Hey, the Catalinas are pink!” And no matter how many times people have seen them, they go to their windows.
This necklace is a tribute to the pink. With a few saguaro cactus. Glass beads with sterling silver clasp.
